About Me

Farrah Cordero-Sanchez, LCPC, LPC is a bilingual clinician with over 14 years of experience. Farrah holds clinical counseling licenses in the states of Maryland, Texas, and South Carolina. She regularly uses cognitive behavioral therapy, clinical hypnosis, EMDR, and the Gottman Method of couples therapy in her work with clients and couples.

Farrah is passionate about helping individuals and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and challenges in their relationships.

Farrah has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 in the Gottman Method Couples therapy modality. She in addition to that has further Gottman training in Treating Affairs & Trauma, Treating infidelity in LGBTQIA+ Relationships, and Couples in Addiction Recovery. Farrah is also a certified leader of The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and offers Saturday workshops to couples looking to improve their communication, connection, and intimacy.

Farrah is a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH). She completed Levels 1, 2, and advanced training with ASCH, over 200 hours of training specifically in providing strategic, outcome-focused clinical hypnosis sessions with world-renowned Dr. Michael Yapko. She regularly participates in continuing education in the clinical hypnosis field and consultation groups with other clinicians that utilize clinical hypnosis with clients and patients.
